01Who is behind the site

furqankhan.me is the personal website of Furqan Khan, an individual working as a fractional chief marketing officer and product builder. Throughout these terms, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to Furqan Khan, and “the site” refers to furqankhan.me and every page on it.

02What the site is for

The site presents my work, my thinking and a way to reach me. It is an introduction, not an offer. Nothing on it constitutes a contract, a quotation, a guarantee of availability, or professional advice of any kind. Any engagement between us begins only with a separate written agreement.

03Permitted use

You may browse the site, link to any of its pages, and quote short passages with attribution and a link back. You may not:

• copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site, in any medium, without my written permission;
• use any content on the site to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model, or to build a dataset, without my written permission;
• frame the site or present its content as your own;
• scrape, crawl or harvest the site by automated means beyond what a general-purpose search engine does to index it;
• probe, overload or interfere with the site or its contact endpoint, or attempt to bypass any of its protections;
• use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, malicious content, or anything unlawful.

04Ownership of content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, portraits, photographs, illustrations, diagrams, films I have produced, the design of the site and its underlying code are my work and are protected by copyright and related rights. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.

The name Furqan Khan and the FK mark identify me. You may not use them to suggest an endorsement, affiliation or relationship that does not exist.

05Third-party material and marks

Logos, wordmarks and brand names of companies I have worked with or for appear on the site to identify past and current work. They belong to their respective owners, who have not endorsed this site. Their appearance means only that work was done for that brand, whether directly or through an agency I was part of, and nothing more.

Where the site shows the work of others, such as a product built with a team, a film made by an agency, or a website designed for a partner, the accompanying text says so. Those works remain the property of their owners and appear here only to illustrate my role in them.

06Case studies and figures

The case studies describe work I have done, products I have built, and results that were reached. I hold myself to a plain rule: the site shows only things that have shipped, labels ideas as ideas, and does not claim clients that have not been signed.

Figures and outcomes are reported in good faith from the sources available to me at the time, including analytics exports, internal reports and the records of the people and organisations involved. They describe what happened in one situation, with one team, in one market, at one time. They are not a promise, forecast or guarantee that similar results would follow in your case. Where a figure originates with a design partner or client rather than with me, the case study says so.

07Films, embeds and links

Films and social posts on the site play inside the site, some from files I host and some through embedded players provided by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Those players are governed by the terms of the provider that serves them. Links lead to sites I do not control. I am not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy or practices of any third-party site or service, and a link is not an endorsement.

08Notes sent through the contact form

When you send a note, you confirm that its contents are yours to send and that they are accurate. I treat what you write as private and use it only to reply to you, as described in the privacy policy. Do not send confidential business information, trade secrets or anything you would not want in an email; a note through the form does not create a confidentiality obligation. If you want to discuss something in confidence, say so first and we can agree how.

09Religious content

Some pages describe itminan, a library of classical Islamic prayer texts, and the daily practice of teaching a dua from the sunnah on social channels. That material is shared for learning and reflection. It is not a religious ruling, and it is not a substitute for the guidance of a qualified scholar. For questions that need one, go to one.

10Availability and changes

I may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time without notice, including these terms. The date at the top tells you when the terms last changed; continued use after a change means you accept the changed terms. I do not promise that the site will be available at any given moment, or that it will be free of errors.

11No warranties

The site and its content are provided as they are and as available, without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the site at your own judgement and risk.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, its content, any film or embed on it, or any site it links to. This includes indirect, incidental, consequential and special losses, loss of profit, loss of data, and loss of business or opportunity, however caused and whether or not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13Indemnity

If your breach of these terms causes a claim against me by a third party, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses I incur as a result, including legal fees.

14Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, except that I may seek an injunction or other urgent relief in any competent court. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
