/work_/WFO demo film
Most product demos are screen recordings. This one is a story, told like a film.
A cinematic demo for SSI Workforce Optimization. When the craft goes up, the product looks worth more, and the brand rises with it.
- Client
- SSI EMEA. The day job.
- Role
- Writer, director, builder. Voice is AI for this cut.
- Made
- July 2026, two weeks. No crew, no camera.
- Runtime
- 3:57, 1920 by 1080.
/how-i-think_
A demo nobody has to sit through. A story they want to finish.
01
Start with the customer, not the product.
The first minute is an owner who feels the cost before he can name it. The product does not appear until his problem has a name.
02
Walk the whole product once.
Every feature, in order, shallow. A buyer leaves knowing exactly what it is. Depth belongs in the demo call the film asks for.
03
Real screens, real numbers.
The product beats are the live interface doing what it does today. No mockups, no claims the tech team did not confirm, no figure dressed up.
04
One ask at the end.
Three minutes of story earn one button. Book a demo. Nothing else competes with it.
/the-story_
The customer, the cause, then the product.
Eleven beats. The customer’s week goes wrong, the spreadsheet is found, the product answers it feature by feature, the proof, one ask. Drag sideways.
1. The customer
An owner feels the overtime, the short day, the worn-down people. He cannot say why.

2. The cause
A spreadsheet copied week to week. Every symptom starts in a cell.

3. The reframe
It was never a people problem. It is a math problem. The product is named.

4. The whole product
One place to run it all: the organisation, the people, the board.

5. The daily use
The staffing board. Short a person and it flags red. Assign, warn, publish.

6. The engine
Smart Scheduling solves the roster. Every preference honoured, no shift open.

7. The people
Skills, licences, days off, the days each person wants. It schedules around all of it.

8. The rules
Unit by unit, permission by permission. Your business, your way.

9. The assistant
Ask a question, get an answer and a how-to. Shown doing only what it does.

10. The proof
A hospital ward running clean. The one place the industry is named.

11. The ask
One button. Book a demo.

/ten-lines_
The whole product, in ten lines on screen.
Every caption in the film, in order. Read them alone and you still know what the software is and who it is for.
- 01So that’s what it was.The spreadsheet, found.
- 02It’s a math problem.The reframe, and the product’s name.
- 03One place to run it all.The whole product, in one look.
- 04One board. Every shift. What the customer does every day.
- 05100% preference. Zero shifts open. What the engine does for them.
- 06Built around your people. Why the team will accept it.
- 07Your rules. Your control. Why the owner will.
- 08Just ask.The assistant, kept honest.
- 09Proven where it matters most. The hospital proof.
- 10Book a demo.The one ask.
/how-it-was-made_
No crew, no camera, two weeks.
The customer’s world is generated and graded. The product is the real interface, recorded by the team and cut. Both are composed and rendered from code, so every frame can be changed the morning before a launch.
The customer’s world
Generated scenes, one owner, warm light. Ten seconds of him walking to the window.

The real product
Cut from the team’s own screen recording. Nothing mocked up.

Rendered from code
Captions, camera moves and transitions are pages. The film is the pages, rendered.
